Something about

Erin Humphrey

Hailing from a small town in rural Maine, Erin Humphrey has always been inspired by nature and tradition. While earning her graphic design degree just outside Boston, she spent as much time in the college’s basement printmaking department as she did on the computer.

The chance to fool around with lead type, antique presses, and silkscreens was an invaluable experience. A fundamental knowledge of both the theoretical and physical history of design informs her work on a daily basis. Ink mixing is color theory, screens are layers, process is key. The exposure helped shape her creative vision as a mix of modern taste and old school flare.

After a few years in the Bay State, Erin scratched her itch for travel and worked seasonal jobs around the country for a while, finally ending up in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. Won over by the mountains, the woods, and the beer, she is proud to call Washington her home.
